WKO Professional Photography Portal

The Federal Guild of Professional Photographers is the official professional body for Austrian professional photography within the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO). For this institution, we conceived and implemented the entire digital presence — from the website through a customized business directory to interactive publications.

The centerpiece is the customization of the WKO Firmen-A-Z — Austria's largest business directory with 3.5 million monthly visitors. We developed a sub-portal with over 36 photography specialization filters: from architectural photography and food photography to drone imagery. This means potential clients don't just find "a photographer" — they find exactly the specialist they need, from over 1,000 listed businesses.

Additionally, we have been producing the interactive industry magazine as a digital flipbook since 2020 — with over 19 issues published to date. These magazines combine high-quality editorial content with digital interactivity: embedded videos, hyperlinks, and responsive display across all devices. The complete package makes the Federal Guild the most digitally advanced professional body in the WKO system.
