RSV Fee Calculator & Native Apps

The Association for the Legal Protection of Photographers Austria (RSV) represents the interests of over 7,000 members — roughly two-thirds of all 10,900 professional photographers in Austria. For this audience, we developed a comprehensive fee calculator covering over 50 usage categories: from advertising photography and editorial use to product photography for retail. The tool enables photographers to calculate their fees transparently and in line with market standards — a crucial advantage in an industry where fair pricing is often a challenge.

In addition to the web application, we developed native apps for iOS, Android, and macOS that make the fee calculator available on mobile and integrate the WKO minimum revenue calculator. The iOS app is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on the Apple App Store — a testament to its intuitive usability and real-world value in photographers' daily workflow.

The result is a digital ecosystem that goes far beyond a simple calculator app: it has become the industry standard for all of Austrian professional photography. The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) officially refers to the RSV fee calculator — a recognition that underscores the tool's relevance and reliability.
